The Earth Laboratory was intended to be a sanctuary for botanical rows of meticulously catalogued plants, preserved for research and survival. However, something else has taken root. Following the events on the Moon, Mimics have infiltrated the facility, disguising themselves among the ordinary plants.

Your task appears straightforward: identify and catalogue the plants using the provided codex. Mark them accurately, and the facility will remain stable. However, one mistake, such as misidentifying a Mimic as a safe plant, could allow the infection to spread somewhere within the lab. You won’t know where it spreads, or how quickly.

Every choice counts. Will you maintain control over containment, or will you watch as the laboratory becomes overrun?

Experience a short, tense journey filled with recognition, deception, and growing dread.

### 1. Inspecting Plants

In the planters, there are 15 plants, each accompanied by a Codex on the right side. Interacting with the Codex reveals the plant’s traits, including:

- Color

- Audio (sounds it produces)

- Soil type

- Grass growth

- Unique traits

### 2. Judging Plants

Using the Codex, determine whether a plant is safe or a Mimic threat. Mark your choice with one of the following icons:

- **Leaf icon** → Safe

- **Flame icon** → Burn (indicates danger/Mimic)

### 3. Consequences of Mistakes

If you make an incorrect marking, the plant's growth will advance, and the Mimic monster will begin to manifest.

The Mimic is deadly:

- Looking at it for too long results in death.

- Allowing it to get too close leads to death.

### 4. Survival Hazards (Random Events)

While inspecting the plants, you may encounter unexpected emergencies that require quick thinking:

- **Oxygen loss** → Adjust the oxygen configuration to survive.

- **Water flooding** → Contain or divert the flooding water.

- Other system failures can occur, disrupting your focus.

### 5. Winning Condition

Successfully mark all plants as Safe or Burn while avoiding the Mimic's presence and managing random ship events.

- **Success**: Containment of the Mimics.

- **Failure**: Death by the Mimic or system collapse.
